
Mark has been a venture capitalist at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners since 1990, and has served as a board member for start-up and public software companies, including AdForce, HomeGrocer, NetDynamics and Scopus Technologies. Currently, he serves as a Director of Cenzic, Infopia, Lathian Systems, ontheFRONTIER, Omniture(NASDAQ: OMTR), Replay Solutions and Tizor Systems. Mark is also a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corporation (Board of Trustees).
Prior to joining Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Mark managed a number of new media areas and was a member of the original SparcStation I team at Sun Microsystems. Mark received a BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MSEE from the University of Minnesota, and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University.

Nicolas joined Partech International in 1998. He is a member of Partech's global software team. Prior to Partech, Nicolas spent 15 years as an entrepreneur and was a co-founder of several Partech-funded companies: Softway International (acq. by ITway), Softway Systems (acq. by Microsoft), and ISDnet (acq. by Cable & Wireless). Nicolas also drove the Softway Venture Development activity which led to the incubation of several successful start-ups in the U.S. and Europe including: RightPoint (acq. by E.piphany), MultiMania (IPO - acq. by Lycos Europe), and LibertySurf (IPO - acq. by Tiscali). Nicolas also served on the boards of Meiosys (acq. by IBM), Pantero (acq. by Progress Software), and Akimbi (acq. by EMC/VMware).
Nicolas is an active board member at his portfolio companies: ClearApp (formerly Acsera), Perenety and Replay Solutions. Nicolas received an MBA from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris, France and attended the International Management Program at both UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and Universität zu Köln, Germany.

Bob joined Sigma in 2003 as Venture Partner and in 2006 became Managing Director. He brings to the firm two decades of high-technology business operational experience. Throughout his career, Bob has served in various operational capacities, including CEO, worldwide sales, technical sales support, software programming, database design, and private and public fundraising. While at Sigma, Bob has helped a number of the firm’s portfolio companies expand operations, build management teams and increase revenues. Bob’s technology focus areas include enterprise applications software, e-commerce, and software as a service.
Prior to joining Sigma, Bob was President and CEO of Extensity. During his tenure, Extensity grew from $1 million to $25 million while raising money through private funding and an Initial Public Offering. In March of 2003, Extensity was sold to GEAC. Prior to Extensity, Bob was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and International Operations at Clarify, a leading provider of integrated CRM solutions. During his tenure at Clarify, he grew the company from $5 million to $140 million in revenue while managing a worldwide organization of 260 professionals. Prior to Clarify, Bob served in expanding roles at Sybase including working as the director of one of Sybase's most successful regions. Bob has also held technical roles at ADR and Chevron, including sales engineer, programmer and database administrator.
Bob received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Jonathan is co-founder and CEO of Replay Solutions, and is passionate about improving the way software is built and delivered. His research has resulted in numerous patent filings for technologies including high performance networking, application virtualization, and the record/replay of computer programs.
Jonathan is a frequent speaker on software lifecycle best practices and enjoys engaging audiences to uncover new ideas around using technology to improve the lives of software teams. Before being pulled into the software industry, Jonathan studied Electrical Engineering at Carleton University. He has over 15 years experience as an engineer and entrepreneur with companies which include Nortel Networks (NT), Milkyway Networks (MWAY), and Muse Corporation.

Jeff has great experience as a developer in the game industry, having worked on a number of titles such as 'Star Wars: Jedi Star Fighter'. Jeff began his career withSGI in their Advanced Graphics Division and went on to help lead the development of next generation online gaming technology with LucasArts , made famous by ‘Star Wars'.
Jeff has been awarded a patent for innovative compilation techniques, and has been published by the Association of C/C++ Users. Jeff studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California at Berkeley, and continued his studies at Stanford.
